Flip of a different switch
In the grand entrance to the Empire State Building, Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson flipped the switch -- as if changing gears in his car -- that lit the top of the skyscraper in the blue, yellow and white colors of his Hendrick Motorsports team.

Craftsman and NASCAR have announced the winners of the inaugural Craftsman Wrenchman Award:
• Andrew Mason, Richard Childress Racing
• Ramie Jones, Braun Racing
• Bob Rahilly, Jim Rosenblum Racing
The Wrenchman Award recognizes behind-the-scenes crew members from each of the three national series who "turn the wrenches" but rarely get the recognition they deserve.
The winners were honored at the Wrenchman Award ceremony in Miami from Nov. 20-22.
